Jellyfish almost always make for exquisite photography - the more deadly, the more divine :D

This stunning red jelly is one of the most striking I have seen. It is some kind of a deep sea jelly fish that emits bioluminescence. I wasnt able to find out the name though. The image was screen-captured from an astounding BBC video called 'The Blue Planet'.

The fluorescent jellyfish is really a fascinating one.
I was very interested in its name either, and it took me some time, to figure it out.
The animals name is "Red Tortuga". It's a relative new species and has no scientific name yet. However, it belongs to the comb jellys, which are not considered to be a classic jellyfish, since they have no stinging cells.
Class: Tentaculata
Order: Cydippida
If you are interested in that information. : )
